Yuri Tan

Mr. Yuri Tan graduated from the Singapore Management University in 2018 and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor to The Supreme Court, Republic of Singapore in 2019.

Mr. Tan has 5 years of in-house experience in the real estate and healthcare industry with SGX mainboard listed companies invested in both Singapore and overseas developments. He advises on a wide range of company matters including audit, internal risks and controls, acquisitions, divestments, restructuring and financing, from conceptualisation and establishment of special purpose vehicles for new projects and developments to daily operations. He is also familiar with legal and regulatory compliance, having been employed as the main point of contact with various authorities such as the Monetary Authority of Singapore, SGX, Minstry of Health, Singapore Land Authority and other overseas authorities on a wide variety of matters including anti-money laundering, anti-terrorism financing and personal data protection. Having also served in a corporate secretariat capacity, Mr. Tan has also handled a wide range of corporate secretarial functions for both Singapore and overseas entities including matters at the board, board committee and shareholder levels.

Prior to his roles as in-house counsel, Mr. Tan’s practice was primarily focused on infrastructure, construction and engineering matters at both the State Courts and High Court level, arbitration, mediation and adjudication. He has acted for major listed companies in multi-million dollar claims and matters relating to the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act. He was also in charge of his firm’s networking, publicity and corporate social responsibility events including in-house seminars and client updates covering seminal decisions by the Singapore courts.
